A Tribute to Marley
At Ourway Care we strongly believe our clients should have a care team that supports them with their lifestyle and circumstances.
We are here to encourage them to live the very best life possible on their terms.
We have known Marley for many years and were delighted when he chose to join Ourway Care in May 2023.

We have enjoyed supporting him over the years and his unique character and cheekiness made him very special.
The photo shows a trip to the seaside with some of his team which he really enjoyed and had not been since he was a child, sadly this was to be his final trip before being admitted to hospital where he sadly but peacefully passed away.
A special thank you to his team and everyone that has supported him over the years.

RIP Marley, you will be missed

Adventure with the Right Support
Our incredible client Nik is always on the go! Whether it’s open water swimming, cycling, or now competing in the Armed Services Rehabilitation Triathlon, Nik and his dedicated support team share a love of the outdoors.

Here’s what Nik had to say about Ourway Care and the support he receives from his team:

Since my illness and moving to Cornwall, Ourway Care have supported me in my day to day living.
The Ourway Care team have enabled me to adapt a good routine in my week. Ourway Care have given me a consistent rota of staff that are always friendly, professional and helpful in adapting to my daily medical needs.

During my time in Cornwall Ourway Care have worked with me, to find a wrap around team that support my complex medical needs, helping me to my many appointments and supporting me thoughout.
Even though my care needs in my life have changed I have tried to keep my active lifestyle, competing in swimming, cycling, wheelchair Rugby and beach activities. The Ourway Care staff support me through out all of these endeavours, ensuring they are completed in a safe and positive way.
I have recently competed in the Armed Service Rehabilitation Triathlon, the staff have supported me in the training in the run up to the event, allowing me to cycle on the coastal path to train, swim in the sea pool in Plymouth and cold water splash on the beaches in Newquay. Liaising with outside activity providers and safety staff to enable a thrilling but safe activity.

The Ourway Care team have always valued my independence ensuring that the staff that work with me are the correct fit, supporting me to achieve a fulfilling adaption of my daily living.
